Stock Assembly for AOM140
Colors vary between batches. Like original military rifles, wooden furniture on an Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine varies in wood dimensions and tightness of fit on each firearm. As a result, the size of the gap between the upper handguard and gun stock varies with each rifle.

Full length M1 Carbine stock
I recently bought the full length carbine stock as an add on to my Paratrooper carbine. The stock fit in real easy. Once the action was secured into the stock, I then test fired it with 50 rounds of factory ammunition. The carbine was superb in it's fit and rigidity with no looseness, no loss in accuracy. It looks and feels like a freshly issued weapon. I put some oil on the stock with it's oiler and sling. I got compliments from shooters that it is a handsome carbine on the range.

Wood Stock
I bought a paratrooper model, but also wanted the full wood stock, so I ordered one. I was hoping to get some nice/ cool wood grain, and I was not disappointed. I don't know if everyone would like what I got, but I do. I has a really dramatic black banding through the the buttstock, going up to the tang, and going down one side of the foregrip. It wasn’t as shiny as pictured, and is like the wood on the paratrooper stock: flat, which I am cool with. Also, everything dropped right in as you would expect, and was a very good fit.
