  • Q. What is the procedure for returning my firearm for service or repair?

    A.
KAHR ARMS AND AUTO-ORDNANCE DOES NOT ALLOW INDIVIDUALS OR DEALERS TO BRING FIREARMS TO OUR FACTORY FOR REPAIR. GUNS FOR REPAIR MUST BE SENT TO THE FACTORY ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATION OUTLINED BELOW.

Kahr & Auto-Ordnance firearms returned to the factory for service or repair should be sent to:

    Kahr Firearms Group
    Attn:Return Dept.
    105 Kahr Ave.
    Greeley, PA 18425

Confirm the firearm is unloaded before shipping.
Contact Kahr Arms Technical Support Department to receive a Return Authorization number before shipping a firearm to the factory. You can do this by online (RA request form) or by calling 508-795-3919. Ship handguns prepaid via UPS or Fed Ex overnight. Federal law prohibits anyone without a Federal Firearms License from shipping a handgun by mail. Please check for any additional state or local regulations. With your return, enclose a letter that references your Return Authorization number and includes: name; address; phone number; and firearm model and serial number. The letter should describe, in detail, the problem being experienced or work to be done.

  • Q. What does the "U" on the trigger guard of my pistol mean?

    A.
If there is a "U" engraved on the trigger guard of your pistol, it is a factory refurbished and test fired model (often sold as a "test fired" gun). The gun is considered to be used, will come with one magazine, and is sold with a one year warranty.

  • Q. My new gun has dirt residue and the barrel shows signs of wear. Could it be used?

    A.
Kahr test fires every gun it sells. The wear marks on the barrel are simply a top layer of plating being scraped by the action of the slide during test. The dirt residue is caused by the evaporation of the lubrication used during packaging. Unless there is a "U" engraved on the trigger guard, your gun is new and carries a full 5 year warranty.
