Greeley, PA - Thompson Auto-Ordnance, maker of the famous "Tommy Gun" and other iconic firearms throughout history, is happy to announce that the new Deluxe model Thompson in 9mm is now shipping to dealers and distributors.

Since 1915, the "Tommy Gun" has been manufactured in .45 ACP. Kahr Firearms Group brought innovation to life when they recently announced plans for the 9mm Thompson model T5-9L20. The 9mm version is an original design by Thompson Auto-Ordnance in-house engineers, using the original Thompson platform. After much anticipation, the 9mm Thompson is now shipping.

The 9mm model features all the classic details of John Thompson's original. The frame and receiver are machined from a solid billet of aluminum, and the buttstock, grip and vertical fore grip are all made from American Walnut. The T5-9L20 is offered with one 20-round stick magazine. The finned barrel measures 16.5 inches and 18 inches with the compensator. It has an overall length of 41 inches and features a front blade sight and an open rear adjustable. The MSRP is $1,364.
