GREELEY, PA - 9/10/25 - Auto-Ordnance is proud to honor two and a half centuries of American military heritage with the release of two exceptional commemorative firearms: the 250th Anniversary Navy, and the 250th Anniversary Marines 1911A1s. These pistols celebrate the distinct legacies, valor, and unwavering spirit of the nation's first seaborne services.
Both firearms are customized by Altered Arsenal, and built on the proven Auto-Ordnance 1911A1 platform chambered in the legendary .45 ACP caliber. But both are more than just pistols, they are heirlooms forged in steel, blending the timeless 1911 design with custom details that tell a story of American valor. Each is designed as both a collector's treasure and a testament to American bravery.
The 250th Anniversary Navy Commemorative 1911
A tribute to the "sentinels of the sea," this stunning pistol commands attention with its unique, multi-toned Cerakote finish. A base of Arctic White and Savage Stainless gives the frame and slide a brilliant sheen, creating a perfect canvas for the engravings. To give each marking exceptional depth, the areas around the engravings are carefully dusted with Armor Black. This process makes the proud "NAVY" on the left side and the gold-highlighted "250 YEARS" emblem on the right stand out with striking clarity. The top of the slide is engraved with designs depicting the Navy Dress Uniform, while the genuine hardwood grips feature a beautifully detailed portrait of John Paul Jones, the "Father of the American Navy." His determined gaze serves as a powerful reminder of the defiant spirit that has defined the Navy since its inception.
The 250th Anniversary Marines 1911A1
Masterfully crafted to salute the "Few and the Proud," this pistol’s striking visual presence is defined by a Stormtrooper White Cerakote frame contrasted against a Midnight Blue slide with USMC Red and Gold accents, emulating the Marine’s special Dress White’s uniform. The slide proudly displays its heritage with "MARINES" emblazoned in bold lettering on the left side. The right side celebrates the historic milestone with "UNITED STATES" and a gold-inlaid "250 YEARS" emblem. The story of the Corps continues on the custom engraved wood grips, which bridge the past with the present by featuring a scene of Revolutionary War-era warriors on the right panel and a depiction of a modern Marine on the left. Both pistols include one seven-round magazine.
These limited-edition firearms offer sailors, Marines, veterans, and dedicated collectors a chance to own a piece of history and honor 250 years of faithful service. They are a fitting tribute to the grand traditions and heroic legacies of the Navy and Marines.
