Greeley, PA: 11/6/25. In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima, Auto-Ordnance, in partnership with the artists at Altered Arsenal, has announced the release of a special edition M1 Carbine. This meticulously crafted rifle pays tribute to the unwavering bravery and sacrifice of the American servicemen who fought on the black sands of the island.
The rifle’s most prominent feature is its beautifully detailed wood stock, which is deeply engraved with iconic imagery and sentiments. In a profound tribute to the fallen, the individual names of many of the thousands of American servicemen who lost their lives in the battle are engraved directly onto the stock. The front bears the solemn phrase "HONORING THE FALLEN."
The rear stock features stunning depictions that evoke the spirit of the conflict, including the legendary flag raising on Mount Suribachi, a map of the battle, military symbols, and a prominent 80th Anniversary commemorative medallion.
While serving as a powerful memorial, the rifle maintains the historical accuracy and quality that made the original M1 Carbine a legend. Chambered in .30 Carbine, this limited edition firearm is more than just a rifle; it is a powerful artifact for collectors, historians, and anyone who wishes to own a piece of history and honor the enduring legacy of American heroism at Iwo Jima.
Two versions of the commemorative rifle are available to comply with state and local laws:
